Can you say Silly?

Gabriel colors and is as patient as he can be.....30 minutes is a long time when you are hungry

What to see......No Gabe - not 'Cars' Again

No Kara - it is not cheese - its popcorn (and previews)

Tonight was Daddy & Kid night. We decided as a team to go to Pizza Hut and to go see the Movie "The Ant Bully". We polished off a large popcorn, two large frozen cherry drinks and........a bag of m&ms (mommy will be proud). We all enjoyed the movie and finished the night off by looking through our telescope at the moon.

Over the Hedge

Before

After

I took Gabe to get his ears lowered today. He loves having hair to play with so this visit was a little overdue. When he was done he politely thanked the stylist and when we got to the car he said "Dad - My hair looks stupid!" Too funny! I think he looks great! Mommy and Sister approved.

Family Fun Day - Fourth of July

After our fun morning we had a picnic on our porch. We then headed to the sprinklers with our neighbor Colin. After a fast nap, we grilled up some steaks and burgers, etc. and had Dinana, Mike, Dr. Mike, Amy, baby Kate and Colin over. We ended our night by watching fireworks (wow our neighbors went all out). The pictures didn't quite come out since my flash was giving me trouble, but they were "decent" let me tell ya.

Happy Independence Day

Independence Day started off with a BIG french toast breakfast (imagine that) and a trip to Toys-R-Us. We bought some painting supplies and had a paint fest in the basement. Gabe wanted to paint the U.S.A. flag and Kara just wanted to paint. More planned for today, but this was our start.

Viva Portugal!!!

My very good friend from work Claudio, invited Gabe and I to watch the quarterfinal match of the FIFA World Cup between Portugal and England. Claudio and his brother Pedro are from Portugal so naturally they were intense throughout the game. While Giorgio (Claudios' 3 year old son) and Gabriel played and cheered on Portugal - the boys in maroon won in the most exciting fashion - a penalty kick shootout!!!

The Semi-finals are next and the real test awaits as Portugal will play France. The French defeated the favorite and 2002 WC Champion Brasil in their quarterfinal match. Thanks to our Portuguese friends for letting us take part in their excitement.
